A downloadable game
A short solo university project based on the idea of "a world without truth"
This project is a "beautiful garden" prototype which is an early representation of what the mechanics & structure of a full project would look like.
Based partly in concept on Plato's cave allegory, this project aims to represent philosophical ideas around epistemology within gameplay.
To represent the theme of "a world without truth", deception and illusion are woven into the core mechanics of the project. Throughout a larger game, these would intensify and become far more complex than their current integration.
Over time, you may learn that your surroundings are not what they seem.
This was a personal first for me in designing a non-linear puzzle space. In addition I experimented with a new visual style which was partly made possible by outsourcing via some very talented people's work. (links below)
This is also my first time using ambient environment sounds in a project! Glad to finally get round to it.
